About Solmar Resort Optional All Inclusive
The word "optional" in the name matters, so here is how the all-inclusive side works. Certain rates come with a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner package, while others cover the morning meal only, in the form of an American breakfast. Anything ordered through room service, at the coffee shop or from the mini-bar, plus the bottle of water in your room, is billed separately. If your reservation has no meals, the meal prices on your confirmation are for illustration only. They are not a credit or voucher. Our vacation specialists can confirm which plan your rate includes before you book.
Days here tend to start at the water. Mornings can begin at the outdoor pool, where the water is warmed, there is a view to enjoy, and younger swimmers have a shallow end and pool toys. A pool bar keeps drinks close, and sun loungers, beach chairs and umbrellas are set out for long, lazy stretches. A hot tub/Jacuzzi is there for cooler moments, and the resort is beachfront with its own beach, so a change of scene means walking out to the sand.
When you want more than lounging, there is plenty to do. Play tennis, a round of mini golf or a game of table tennis, or settle in with board games and puzzles. Fishing, diving, snorkelling and horse riding are all on the menu, and there is a tour desk, plus walking tours, bike tours and a local-culture tour or class. Unwind with a massage at the spa and wellness center; manicures, pedicures, hair salon visits and a barber/beauty shop round out the pampering. Evenings are social: three restaurants, a bar and a snack bar share the stage with a happy hour. Entertainment staff keep things lively, sport is broadcast live, and themed dinner nights add variety.
For families, there are children's meals and a buffet geared to younger diners, and guests with dietary needs can ask for a special menu. Every room type has its own balcony or patio and cooking facilities. That makes it easy to keep breakfast supplies on hand while using the meal package for the big meals. Guests must be 21 or older to check in, and children are welcome with an adult.
