The short and sweet answer is yes, booking a stay at an all-inclusive resort is worth it.
Your room, food, drinks, activities, and entertainment all covered by one cost? Now that’s a vacation. Not only is it worth it from a cost standpoint, but also, it is just convenient. With everything already included, you don’t have to worry about carrying your wallet around with you everywhere to pay for things throughout the day. If you want a drink - you can just get a drink. If you want to enjoy a live show - you can just take a seat. The ease of it all just enhances the vacation experience that much more.
One thing to keep in mind, however, is that not all-inclusive resorts are the same. When planning your vacation, check each individual resort to see what’s really included in “all-inclusive” and make sure that the resort you want to stay at includes all the amenities that are essential to you. For instance, at many all-inclusive resorts, spa services are a separate cost. However, there are some in which spa services are included in the all-inclusive price. If getting a massage is essential to your vacation, perhaps opt for a resort that includes the cost of spa services in their “all-inclusive” price.
