Hi Lis,
We just returned from Grand Lido Braco where we had
an absolutely wonderful time. What a charming resort!
Beverly, the wedding coordinator, put together a
very nice vow renewal service out in gazebo on Monday morning (I've attached a picture) as
well as a little champagne & cake reception afterwards with the staff, and made
reservations for us at the French restaurant that night. It was much more than we
expected.
We initially had a minor problem with the room
which they promptly resolved. FYI - their idea of an upgrade from a beachfront room is to
a garden view suite. We politely disagreed :-) and they moved us to a beachfront room on
the second floor as requested. The GLB staff was very accommodating.
I know you've been to this resort, so I'll spare
you the details and simply say that we've been on many nice vacations, but the resort and
staff at GLB exceeded our expectations and gave us what we feel is the best vacation we
have ever had.
