destination you are visiting. |
| ShowTime |

|
HOW TO JOIN CHILDRENS CLUBS |
| When making your reservation, enroll
your child in the appropriate childrens club. Space in the Petit Club Med and
Baby Club Med Childrens Clubs is limited in order to adhere to the safety
regulations and standards of child care structures and provide the utmost of care and
enjoyment for your child. There will be no exceptions made to the number of spaces
available. The age groups of each club have been carefully considered for maximum safety
and compatibility and will also be strictly adhered to. |
| Once at the Village, you should
register your child with the GO. (Gracious Organizer) responsible for the particular
Childrens Club. Advise the G.O. if your child requires any special attention
(nutrition, sleep patterns, favorite toy, etc.). Such information is invaluable for the
Childrens Club G.O.s as it allows them to help children feel safe and comfortable
around their new friends and environment. |
| With your cooperation and the overall
preventative health and hygiene measures adopted by Club Med, your children will be able
to enjoy a quality, healthy environment full of fun and games during their vacation at any
Club Med Village with Childrens Clubs around the world. |
| *Please note: a supplement fee of $29
per day for the Baby Club Med and Petit Club Med is paid per child at the time of booking.
This supplement is non-refundable and guarantees a spot for your child in the
Childrens Club. Childrens Club available only if booked for duration of stay. |
| Children in the Care of The
Childrens Clubs |
| A parent/guardian must complete and
sign the registration forms and attendance register for their child, stating precisely the
time they have signed their child in and the time they will pick up their child. When
children from 4 to 10 years old have been signed in to the Mini Club Med, the G.O. will
give each child a bracelet, clearly indicating that they are part of the Mini Club Med. |
| Important: Children who are NOT in
the care of the Childrens Clubs or who are staying at Villages without
Childrens Clubs facilities are the full responsibility of their parent/guardians. |
| While in the Childrens Club,
your child will be in the good hands of specially trained G.O.s who have all met safety
requirements and training standards. A generous G.O.-to-child ratio is maintained within
each club. |
| Childrens Health |
| For children in the Baby Club Med and
Petit Club Med, parents are strongly advised to obtain a certificate of health
for their child prior to departure. This can simply be a letter issued by your doctor
stating that your child is in good health. It should be issued no more than 48 hours
before arrival at the Village. Please note that a certificate of health is
recommended for our Villages in France. |
| Children will only be accepted in the
Childrens Clubs if they are considered to be in good health and without any signs of
a contagious cold or fever. Club Med reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to
request the certificate and refuse acceptance of any child into the Childrens Club
should this be deemed necessary for health reasons. Please check that your childs
vaccinations are up to date prior to departure. A doctor is available at some of our Baby
Club Med Villages. The role of such a doctor is limited to offering assistance, providing
advice and administering urgent first aid. It does not, under any circumstances, for legal
and ethical reasons, substitute the role of the local doctor in regard to prescriptions. |
| Only the parents/guardian are allowed
to administer medication to their child. Under no circumstances are the Childrens
Club G.O.s authorized to administer medication. In the event of a doctors visit, all
medical or hospital cost will be charged to the parents/guardian. |
| Childrens Meals |
| Club Meds extensive buffets
offer plenty of choices for the little ones from hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza to
international cuisine for the more adventurous eaters. Some Villages with Childrens
Clubs have separate restaurants just for children. |
- Sandpiper-Florida: Baby Club Med restaurant serves
lunch and dinner.
|
- Ixtapa: Petit and Mini Club Med restaurant serving
lunch. Restaurant hours vary depending upon Village location.
|
| Childrens Amenities |
| Childrens beds, high chairs
and/or booster seats for restaurants are available to parents in all Villages; parents are
responsible for extra diapers and bottles. |
| Villages with Baby Club Med and Petit
Club Med programs offer strollers at no extra charge (based on availability). In case you
forget to bring some necessities, replacement items including toiletries, diapers and jars
of baby food may be available in the Club Med Boutique. |
| Children With Special Needs |
| Please inquire at time of booking
should your child require special needs; we will determine whether we can accommodate
these needs. |
